1950 - Bernard J. Murphy returns home from serving aboard the nuclear submarine U.S.S. Redfin during combat operations in WWII and opens Murphy Plumbing in Chicago, Illinois. B.J. Murphy chooses the south side location of 17th Street and S. Michigan Avenue as his headquarters.
1976 - Patrick B. Murphy opens up shop as Patrick B. Murphy, Inc. and bases operations in Burr Ridge, IL. He quickly gains a reputation as the industry’s go-to-guy by recruiting and employing highly trained plumbers fully capable of providing quick remedy to the toughest jobs.
1985 - Murphy Plumbing, Co. begins offering hydro-jetting services and other key plumbing facility maintenance services, and is quickly recognized in the Chicagoland area as the value based plumber that fixes problems.
1999 - Patrick B. Murphy, Co. completes construction on new facilities in Romeoville, IL near Rt. 53 and I-55. The facility is 10,000 square feet and was built with state of the art video monitoring and web based communications systems.
2009 - Patrick B. Murphy, Co. launches www.perfectplumber.com and establishes its formal presence on the world wide web. Today, Patrick B.
